The silk-lined hood
The Alora Hoodie's hood is double-layered and lined in silk. Pull it up and the smooth silk, not the fleece, is what sits against your curls, braids or blowout. The rest is a heavyweight, slightly oversized women's hoodie you'll live in.

Why silk
Most hoods are lined in the same cotton fleece as the body. Silk's smooth fiber creates less friction than cotton or fleece, the same reason people sleep on silk pillowcases or wear silk wraps and bonnets.
The silk is in the hood, at the point of contact: your face, your hair, the first thing you feel when you pull the hood up.
No drawstrings. The double-layered hood keeps its shape and drapes softly around your face.
The rest of it
Heavyweight brushed fleece, 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Noticeably heavier than most hoodies, soft on the inside.
Slightly oversized with dropped shoulders and a ribbed hem. Runs true to size in S, M and L. Size guide.
Raised puff-print "ALORA" at the left chest, a double-stitched kangaroo pocket and a hidden sewn silk inner tag.
